Summary

This notice explains which personal data postingofworkers.com collects, why, how long it keeps it and where to send a request about it, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation.

The site is an independent reference on the rules for posted workers in Europe and the A1 certificate, and it holds personal data only where a reader chooses to send it.

The short version has four points: no analytics or advertising tools run on any page, form data is kept for 24 months, a newsletter subscription runs until you unsubscribe, and a provider match request goes to independent providers only with your consent. The text of the GDPR is published on EUR-Lex.

Who Is Responsible for Your Data

The data controller for the personal data described on this page is the publisher of postingofworkers.com, and every request about that data goes to editorial@postingofworkers.com. The content of the site is written by the Posting of Workers Editorial Team, which also reads the emails sent to that address. One address serves both requests about personal data and corrections to the guides, so a reader never needs a second channel.

No other company decides how the personal data collected on postingofworkers.com is used or for what purpose. Who runs the site and how it stays independent is set out under about Posting of Workers.

What We Collect and Why

postingofworkers.com collects personal data in three situations only: when you send a provider match request, when you subscribe to the newsletter and when you email the editorial team. Reading pages involves no analytics or advertising tools, so a visit on its own creates no reading profile. The site offers no posting-check tool, so no tool data is collected either. The table below sets out what each situation collects and for what purpose.

Situation Data Purpose
Reading pages No analytics or advertising data Delivering the page through the hosting processor
Provider match request, on guide pages such as the posting compliance checklist Request type, situation, sending and host countries, number of workers, planned start and anticipated duration, description, email address, company Passing the request to independent providers, only with your consent
Newsletter Email address Sending the newsletter
Email to the editorial team Your message and email address Answering it

Reading Pages Without Analytics or Advertising Tools

No analytics service and no advertising vendor runs on postingofworkers.com, so no reading profile is built and no reading data is sold or shared for advertising. Every guide on the Posting of Workers Directive, the A1 certificate and the national posting rules can be read without filling in a form.

Pages are delivered by the hosting processor named under Hosting and Processors below, which acts on the publisher's behalf.

Provider Match Requests

A provider match request is a form in which you describe your posting, and postingofworkers.com passes it to independent providers who handle A1 applications, posting declarations and posting compliance, but only with your consent. The form asks for the type of request and your situation, the sending country and the host country or countries, the number of workers, the planned start and anticipated duration of the posting, and a free description. It also asks for your email address and your company.

Consent is asked in the form before anything is passed on, and a request without that consent goes to no provider. Providers cannot buy a place on postingofworkers.com. How providers are kept apart from the content is set out in our editorial policy.

postingofworkers.com keeps each provider match request for 24 months.

The Newsletter

The newsletter uses your email address only to send the newsletter, and your subscription runs until you unsubscribe. Signing up for the newsletter and sending a provider match request are separate steps, so subscribing on its own sends nothing to a provider. Leaving the newsletter ends the subscription.

Emails to the Editorial Team

An email to editorial@postingofworkers.com, for example a correction or a question about this notice, is read by the editorial team and used only to answer it. A correction to a guide and a question about your data reach the same team, because the same address receives requests about personal data.

How Long We Keep Your Data

postingofworkers.com keeps the data from provider match requests and newsletter sign-ups for 24 months, and keeps a newsletter subscription until you unsubscribe. Data is deleted when its period ends. The table below gives the period for each type of data, and the same periods apply to every reader.

Data Period
Provider match request 24 months
Newsletter sign-up 24 months
Newsletter subscription Until you unsubscribe

Hosting and Processors

postingofworkers.com is hosted on Cloudflare, which acts as a processor: it delivers the pages on the publisher's behalf and does not decide how the data is used.

No analytics or advertising vendor receives data from postingofworkers.com. Independent providers receive a provider match request only with your consent.

Your Rights and How to Send a Request

Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 you can ask the publisher of postingofworkers.com which personal data it holds about you and ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and every such request goes to editorial@postingofworkers.com. You can also withdraw your consent to passing on a provider match request that has not yet been passed on. You can leave the newsletter at any time by unsubscribing.

A request is sent by email to the address above and names the data concerned, for example a provider match request or a newsletter subscription. Other questions to the editorial team are covered on the page to contact Posting of Workers.
