Contact: Posting of Workers
Contact the Posting of Workers editorial team: report an error with its primary source, ask about a page, or find where provider requests go.
Summary
The Posting of Workers Editorial Team reads every message sent through the form on this page or to editorial@postingofworkers.com.
This page sets out which messages the team handles, such as corrections and questions about a page, and what it cannot do for a reader's own posting.
Posting of Workers is an independent, provider-neutral reference on the EU directives, the social security regulations and the national rules that govern the posting of workers in Europe.
How to Reach the Editorial Team
Use the form on this page or write to editorial@postingofworkers.com; both reach the same editorial team. The form offers four topics: a correction or factual error, a question about a page, a press enquiry, and other messages. Choose the topic, name the page concerned and quote the passage; a name is optional, an email address is needed for a reply. The form confirms each message with the line "Message received. Thank you."
What to Write to Us About
Write to us about an error on a page, a question about what a page says, or a press enquiry; requests for help with a posting go through the provider form instead. Each of the three routes has its own section below.
Reporting an Error and Asking for a Correction
A useful correction names the page, quotes the exact statement and gives the primary source that shows the correct value. The site checks its own statements against the same kinds of source: EUR-Lex and the EU institutions for EU law, national gazettes and ministries for national posting law, the single official national websites on posting, labour inspectorates and the institutions that issue the A1.
Once an error is confirmed against such a source, corrections follow our editorial policy.
Questions about What a Page Says
The team answers questions about what a page states and which source it rests on, for example which Article of Directive 2014/67/EU a sentence cites. The answer points to the provision or the official document behind that sentence. Questions about how a rule applies to your own posting fall outside this route.
Requests for Help from an Independent Provider
Requests for help with an A1 application, a posting declaration or posting compliance are not handled by email or by the contact form. They go through the provider match form behind the button "Describe your posting request", which passes the request to independent providers who handle A1 applications, posting declarations and posting compliance.
Contact messages are never passed to providers, and providers cannot buy a place on postingofworkers.com.
Every obligation before, during and after a posting is listed in the posting compliance checklist.
What This Site Cannot Do: No Legal Advice and No Filing
Posting of Workers explains what the posting rules and the A1 rules require, but it gives no legal advice on an individual case and files nothing on anyone's behalf. The team never tells a named employer or worker which State's social security legislation applies to them, whether an A1 will be issued, whether a posting is lawful or whether a fine will be imposed.
Neither the A1 nor a posting declaration passes through this site. The competent institution of the Member State whose legislation applies issues the A1 at the request of the person concerned or the employer (Article 19(2) of Regulation (EC) No 987/2009). A posting declaration that a host State requires reaches its competent authorities at the latest at the commencement of the service provision (Article 9(1)(a) of Directive 2014/67/EU). The steps for the A1 are explained under how to apply for an A1 certificate.
Turn to an employment lawyer, an independent provider or the official bodies listed below for advice on a specific case.
What Happens to Your Message
A message sent through the form is kept for 24 months and is used only to answer it and to correct the site. No analytics or advertising vendors run on postingofworkers.com.
Which data the site holds and which rights you have over them are set out in our privacy notice.
Official Contacts for Your Own Posting Case
Questions about the terms of employment in your own posting are answered officially in the host State, through the liaison offices that each Member State designates under Article 4(1) of Directive 96/71/EC. Under Article 5(2)(e) of Directive 2014/67/EU, Member States also indicate a contact person at the liaison office in charge of requests for information, and Your Europe lists the liaison offices (page last checked 29 September 2026). Three pages of this site lead further.
- The host State's liaison offices and single official websites, which answer questions on its terms of employment.
- The contact person for posted workers that a host State may require a posting employer to designate to liaise with its competent authorities and to send out and receive documents or notices (Article 9(1)(e) of Directive 2014/67/EU).
- The page about Posting of Workers, its publisher and its independence.
